Our guides are written to help you prepare for a decision or a conversation. They should explain the useful detail early, use everyday language and say where individual advice is needed.
Sources and checked dates
We use official sources for funding routes, healthcare information and equipment safety. These include UK government services, the NHS and regulators. A checked date records when the cited source was reviewed for the page; it does not guarantee that a policy will remain unchanged.
When arrangements differ across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, we identify the relevant route. We do not turn a scheme summary into a personal eligibility verdict.
Product information
Manufacturer specifications describe a product; they do not establish that it suits a particular person. We do not claim personal testing without evidence, invent prices or publish ratings that imply a test took place.
Commercial links must be labelled. Our affiliate disclosure explains how they work.
Safety and corrections
We signpost assessments and competent installers where needed. Our pages do not provide DIY instructions for major adaptations or replace medical advice.
If a page is unclear, outdated or inaccurate, email webmaster.jarvis@gmail.com. Please include its address, the detail in question and a source if you have one. Information that cannot be verified should remain unpublished.
